A curated catalogue of 100% AI-generated music created for film, television, documentary, advertising and digital media.
You keep ownership. Representation is non-exclusive. When Shadow Lantern generates a licence, Gross Licensing Revenue is shared 50/50.
What Shadow Lantern Represents
Shadow Lantern is looking for original AI-generated music that works against picture — music with a clear emotional purpose, strong production quality and practical value for editors, producers, agencies and music supervisors.
The track has to stand on its own musically. Strong ideas, thoughtful arrangement and professional production matter.
Accepted music should have a recognizable role in film, television, documentary, advertising or digital media.
The creator must have the authority required for Shadow Lantern to offer the track for one-stop licensing.
Non-Exclusive Representation
Shadow Lantern representation is non-exclusive. You retain ownership of accepted tracks and remain free to market and license them independently or through other non-exclusive representatives.
If Shadow Lantern generates the licensing opportunity, Gross Licensing Revenue is divided equally between the creator and Shadow Lantern.
If you independently generate an unrelated licence, Shadow Lantern receives nothing from that transaction.
What Shadow Lantern Does
For accepted music, Shadow Lantern handles the professional catalogue side of the relationship: presentation, metadata development, searchable classification, music discovery, customer licensing, licence administration and collection of Shadow Lantern-generated licensing fees.
Shadow Lantern Cue Profile
The Shadow Lantern Cue Profile is our production-focused metadata framework. It is designed to help music buyers search by the way a scene feels, functions and develops — not simply by genre.
The objective is simple: make it easier for the right buyer to find the right music.
One-Stop Licensing
Every track represented through Shadow Lantern must qualify for one-stop licensing through Shadow Lantern Studios. The creator must have sufficient authority over the music and recording to allow Shadow Lantern to issue the applicable licence without requiring the customer to chase additional owners or approvals.
One-stop status is a condition of catalogue acceptance and must remain valid while the track is represented by Shadow Lantern.
Catalogue Standards
Shadow Lantern is curated. Submission does not guarantee catalogue acceptance, and volume is not a substitute for quality.
How Shadow Lantern Works With Creators
The process is designed to keep rights clear, expectations straightforward and the catalogue selective.
Submit your strongest work for consideration.
We evaluate musical quality, catalogue fit, production value and sync potential.
If we want to work together, you sign the non-exclusive Creator Catalogue Representation & Licensing Agreement.
Each accepted track receives its own Track Submission & Rights Certification.
We create the Cue Profile and activate the track in the searchable Shadow Lantern catalogue.
Creator Economics
Shadow Lantern shares the licensing revenue it generates with the creator whose music created the opportunity.
The split applies to Gross Licensing Revenue from licences generated through Shadow Lantern. There is no upfront catalogue fee, no exclusivity requirement and no Shadow Lantern share of unrelated licences you generate independently.
