I confirm that AI was used in creating each track I am submitting. Human songwriting, performance and production are welcome, and I can describe the AI contribution if requested. I confirm that I control or have sufficient authority over the submitted music and recording to submit it for review and, if accepted, to authorize Shadow Lantern to represent it for one-stop licensing. I confirm that my use of the AI platform, account and plan used to create the submitted music permits the commercial use and licensing contemplated by this submission. I confirm that I have not knowingly included unauthorized samples, voices, copyrighted recordings, reference materials or other third-party content that would prevent lawful commercial licensing of the submitted music. I understand that Shadow Lantern representation, if offered, is non-exclusive and that accepted tracks must remain eligible for one-stop licensing through Shadow Lantern while represented. I understand that submission does not guarantee catalogue acceptance, promotion, placement, licensing activity or revenue.

If Shadow Lantern wishes to represent any submitted track, formal Creator Agreement and track-specific rights certification will be completed before catalogue activation.

Shadow Lantern is looking for original AI-generated music that works against picture — music with a clear emotional purpose, strong production quality and practical value for editors, producers, agencies and music supervisors.

The track has to stand on its own musically. Strong ideas, thoughtful arrangement and professional production matter.

Usefulness to Picture

Accepted music should have a recognizable role in film, television, documentary, advertising or digital media.

Rights Clarity

The creator must have the authority required for Shadow Lantern to offer the track for one-stop licensing.

Non-Exclusive Representation

Your music remains yours.

Shadow Lantern representation is non-exclusive. You retain the rights and interests you hold in accepted tracks and remain free to market and license them independently or through other non-exclusive representatives.

If Shadow Lantern generates the licensing opportunity, Gross Licensing Revenue is divided equally between the creator and Shadow Lantern.

If you independently generate an unrelated licence, Shadow Lantern receives nothing from that transaction.

Every track represented through Shadow Lantern must qualify for one-stop licensing through Shadow Lantern Studios. The creator must have sufficient authority over the music and recording to allow Shadow Lantern to issue the applicable licence without requiring the customer to chase additional owners or approvals.

One-stop status is a condition of catalogue acceptance and must remain valid while the track is represented by Shadow Lantern.

The split applies to Gross Licensing Revenue from licences generated through Shadow Lantern. There is no upfront catalogue fee, no exclusivity requirement and no Shadow Lantern share of unrelated licences you generate independently.

Do I retain ownership of my music?

Yes. Shadow Lantern representation is non-exclusive and you retain the rights and interests you hold in your accepted tracks, subject to the terms of the Creator Agreement.

Is representation exclusive?

No. You may continue to market and license your music independently and may work with other non-exclusive representatives.

Can I submit music that is represented elsewhere?

Potentially, yes, provided no existing arrangement prevents Shadow Lantern from offering the track on the required one-stop basis.

Does submission guarantee catalogue acceptance?

No. Shadow Lantern is curated. We may decline music based on quality, catalogue fit, rights clarity or other commercial considerations.

Can music with human songwriting or performance be submitted?

Yes. Human songwriting, performance and production are welcome. Each submitted track must involve AI in its creation and meet our quality, rights and licensing standards.

Does Shadow Lantern guarantee placements or income?

No. Catalogue inclusion does not guarantee exposure, licensing activity, placements or revenue.
